Artist Biography
Artist Statement
Artist Biography

His practice, rooted in photography and Abstract Expressionism, integrates installation, sound, and code to explore the translation of faith and ritual. Artist Statement
" My artistic journey began with painting, deeply influenced by an early encounter with Abstract Expressionism. This exploration of abstract forms first manifested in my paintings and later extended into photography. Behind the lens, I explored abstract textures, the interplay of light and shadow, and the capturing of atmospheres. This early pursuit of visual purity, combined with my upbringing in a religious environment, Specific experiences—from understanding the physicality of ritual while serving as an altar boy, to contemplating the concept of 'transformation' during Holy Communion, and delving into the epic structures and symbolism of biblical narratives—have become a unique lens through which I see the world and create my work. Guided me to contemplate the world from multiple sensory and philosophical perspectives.
Today, my practice spans installation, sound, code, and performance, yet it revolves around a few constant pillars. The first is my two-decade background as a musician, which drives me to continuously explore new forms of performance. The second is my long-standing inquiry into mythology, ritual, and systems of belief.
Consequently, my core focus lies in the contemporary translation of faith and epic narratives, a reflection on the philosophy of technology, the entanglement of the body and technology, and the subtle, invisible connections between humanity and the natural world. Through the language of new media, I seek to give sensory form to these abstract concepts. "
